ARC Explorer MKII
The ARC Explorer Mk II is the newest generation of Marine Sonic’s towed side scan sonar designed for search, survey, and recovery applications. The Adaptive CHIRP Technology provides the highest imaging quality possible from a side scan sonar and supports ranges up to 60 % greater than non-Adaptive CHIRP systems. The high resolution imaging and simultaneous dual frequency operation, in conjunction with an adjustable tow point and variable transducer angle, make it an ideal tool for survey and infrastructure inspection applications that require a high level of flexibility. The rugged construction and a 300 m depth rating all in a one-man portable system also make it an ideal tool for the search & recovery and security communities.
ARC Scout MKII
The ARC Scout Mk II is the newest generation of Marine Sonic’s embedded side scan sonar specially designed for Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) and Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). The Adaptive CHIRP Technology provides the highest imaging quality possible from a side scan sonar and in conjunction with an improved signal-to-noise ratio, supports ranges up to 60 % greater than non-Adaptive CHIRP systems. The Scout Mk II has been designed to increase Area Coverage Rate (ACR) and reduce the overall survey time. With the introduction of selectable Range and Range Delay settings per frequency, the operator gains the ability to acquire high resolution images to the maximum extent of the chosen frequency without sacrificing the range extents of the low frequency channels.
SeaScan Hunter
The ARC Hunter Product Line of Heavy-Duty Towed Systems is designed to address the demanding requirements of deep-water survey operations. Hunter’s low frequency Adaptive CHIRP Technology enables industry leading range performance, while maintaining Marine Sonic’s high-resolution image quality. The adaptive CHIRP technology provides the highest imaging quality possible from a side scan sonar and supports ranges up to 60% greater than non-CHIRP systems. Developed around this technology, Hunter Towed Systems achieve ranges beyond 500 meters per side and reaching at least 1000m in swath under real-world conditions.
SeaScan Ranger
The Sea Scan Ranger is a Synthetic Aperture Sonar specifically designed for small Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). Ranger delivers high resolution, ranges, and increased area coverage rates (ACR) at an affordable price. The innovative design make it the smallest SAS in the market while consuming less than half the power of conventional SAS systems. The Sea Scan Ranger provides a constant 5 cm x 5cm resolution at ranges of 150 meters per side. This makes it the ideal sonar for applications that require ultra-high resolution imagery for detecting very small targets in the first survey pass without sacrificing ACR. The modular design of the Ranger provides both offline and online processing options with ultra-low power consumption and reduces the mechanical footprint needed for system integration.
